And, No Doubt, The Crowds Roared . . .

All buildings in the photograph were destroyed during the war, and none rebuilt to pre-war designs.

Munich’s current Central Train Station is an unattractive, utilitarian building, of basic and cheap construction and materials. The building is not in keeping with the great beauty of central Munich, and needs to be replaced.

  1. It's not right. The Building in the middle is called "Bayerpost" and used as a 5 Star Hotel (Sofitel). The Building on the right is the old Main Station, rebuild in the 50ies.
