We just reached our high temperature for the day—a balmy 12 degrees Fahrenheit, with a wind chill of 1 degree Fahrenheit—and snow is in the forecast for tonight and, especially, tomorrow afternoon.
As for me, I still have not warmed up from this morning’s commute.
Is there any way Andrew and I can move to Taormina?
No.

I find your endorsement of Minneapolis weather offensive.
However, as a first-time commenter, you will be given a pass this time, but this time only.

You are welcome.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to reading more about you in future.
Oh, you two are so cute.
ReplyDeleteAnd Josh, I feel what you're feeling. We're covered in snow instead of tinsel and other Christmas crap.
I just got out of my igloo after surviving a cold arctic night. So you can imagine that today and tonight I would be in need of some serious warmth, the machine and the human kind, if you know what I mean.
And, where's Taormina?
Me, the first place I think of when the weather gets like this is the Faroe Islands.
Hey, J.R.
ReplyDeleteTaormina is in Sicily, and it HAS to be warmer there than here.
I am not programmed for this kind of weather, unlike Andrew. The cold is starting to get to me early this year. In addition, I have not seen any sun in about six months.
I hope you are getting through this cold spell as painlessly as possible. I don't think your weather in Chicago is much better than the weather here.
Keep warm.
Josh
I think you guys should move to Taormina. I'll come for a visit. On the other hand, I don't think I'll ever make it to Minneapolis for a visit.
